Ammi, also known as False Queen Anne's Lace, is the backbone as a filler for late spring and summer bouquets. The lacy flowering heads can measure 5" to 6" across, and the more you pick, the more they flower. Harvest the flowers when 80% of the blooms are open; if picked earlier they tend to wilt.
Sow directly into soil 1-2 weeks before final frost date and continue to sow seeds every 14-21 days into late spring for a continued flush of bloom. This hardy annual will reseed itself if you leave a few seed heads to mature on the plants, and look for new plants to pop up the following spring.
