Why we love this flower:

  • Uses: Cut flower
  • Garden growth success: Easy

A silky soft palette of unique petal colors combine to make this Cosmos one of the most popular, selling out quickly each season. This variety has watercolored petals in shades of buttery lemon, pink, and apricot. A truly whimsical display in the landscape or for fine arrangements, and a must grow for event work.

Individual blooms will last in the vase about 4-6 days, but each stem is loaded with multiple blossoms that open over a period of a week. Harvest when buds are cracking, but haven’t fully opened in order to prevent insects from pollinating, which will help stretch the vase life by a few extra days. Flower preservative is recommended. Deadhead through the harvest season to keep them blooming longer. Once established, water only in very dry periods as Cosmos are heat and drought tolerant.
