Why we love this flower:

  • Uses: Cut Flower, dried flower
  • Maintenance: Low, tolerates poor soil

Extremely showy and vigorous, this fabulous herbaceous perennial blooms profusely from mid summer to early fall, producing large 4" flowers. It looks terrific when massed with Black Eyed Susans or Daisies. The Green Twister has a dramatic color mix of strong pink center with green-tinted petal edges.

Easy to care for, it grows in clumps up to 36" to 40" tall on strong erect stems. It thrives in full sun or light shade and prefers average, dry to medium, well-drained soils. Avoid overly rich or fertile soil or the plant will become leggy.

Deadheading and cutting back stems encourage further blooms and reduce self-seeding.
