Red Cup Flowers FAQ
Answers to common questions about our seeds, planting, shipping, and more.
Who is Red Cup Flowers?
Red Cup Flowers is a micro flower farm and seed shop focused on flowers that shine in a vase. Our seed collections are chosen for long stems, beautiful blooms, and strong vase life so you can bring armfuls of color indoors.
Where are you located?
We are based in Western North Carolina, in Black Mountain. We currently sell our flower seeds online through redcupflowers.com.
What makes your seeds different?
Every variety in our shop is chosen with cutting and arranging in mind. We lean toward flowers with strong stems, abundant blooms, and solid vase life, and many are favorites of both cottage gardens, backyard gardeners and florists.
Do you sell cut flowers or just seeds?
Our online shop is currently focused on flower seeds. These are especially popular for home gardeners, florists, and market or roadside stands who want reliable flowers for cutting.
How do I choose the right seeds for my garden?
You can browse seeds by color, by growing habit (annuals or perennials), and by planting season such as fall, spring, or summer. That makes it easy to match seeds with your garden palette and your planting window.
What is the difference between annual and perennial seeds?
Annuals complete their life cycle in a single growing season, giving you a big flush of color fast. But it may not end there…some annuals can be left to reseed naturally. Perennials return year after year in the right climate, building a cutting garden that gets better over time.
How many seeds come in a packet?
Seed counts are listed in each product, for example 25+ seeds, 75+ seeds, or bulk quantities. That helps you decide whether a packet suits a small cutting patch or a more generous planting. Bulk packaging is a great way to save on per-seed pricing, and you can share with friends, neighbors, and local garden clubs.
Do you offer bulk quantities for florists or farm stands?
Yes. In addition to garden-size packets, many varieties are available in larger counts that work well for flower farmers, florists, or anyone planting bigger spaces.
Where can I find planting instructions?
Each product page on the Red Cup Flowers site includes detailed planting directions. Packaging includes planting summaries with QR codes to each product page on our site for entire details. If you ever have questions about timing, spacing, or whether to start indoors or direct sow, you are always welcome to contact us.
Do you share tips for getting longer vase life?
Yes. We have Floral Tips + Tricks that share floral care tips on our site, including ideas for harvesting, conditioning, and arranging your blooms so they last as long as possible in the vase.
How long does it take to process and ship my order?
Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. We choose the carrier and service that offer the best balance of cost and reliability for your package.
Which shipping carriers do you use?
We ship via USPS, UPS, or FedEx, depending on which service is the best fit for your order and destination.
What happens if my package is returned as undeliverable?
If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, we will reach out to you. Once any additional shipping fee is covered, we will reship to the corrected address.
Do you guarantee germination or offer refunds if seeds do not sprout?
We aim for excellent seed quality and strong germination, but once seeds are in the ground we cannot control weather, soil, or watering. Because of that, we are not able to offer refunds for seeds that do not grow, but we do provide detailed directions to help you set them up for success.
How can I contact you if I have a problem with my order?
If something arrives damaged, incorrect, or you have a concern, please email us with your order details so we can review and make things right whenever possible.
How can I leave a review?
If you love our packaging or have enjoyed growing our seeds, we would be thrilled if you left a review through our review links or on social media. Your feedback helps other gardeners discover us, and in turn you help us GROW!
